Join us for our 2nd season of Music in the Park. This is a free, family-friendly music series sponsored by Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry and coordinated by Simply Created by Susie.
Young Musicians Program! This evening we are showcasing some of the area’s most talented Teen musicians. This is NOT an evening of karaoke. These young ladies are performing covers with their own twist, as well as originals.
Sydney Irving Music is a 14-year-old singer-songwriter from upstate NY. She started playing guitar when she was 9 and began writing her own songs at the age of 11. Sydney ‘s music has a folk-pop sound with catchy rhythms and thoughtful lyrics. She’s been greatly influenced by Tom Petty, Taylor Swift, and Eddie Vedder. She plays the guitar, ukulele and is just starting to learn the banjo.
Emily Testa is a teen from Romulus, NY.

Abuelas Kitchen will be our featured Food Truck for the evening. Coming from Auburn, NY, Abuela’s Kitchen serves dishes with a Caribbean, Spanish, Puerto Rican and Cuban flare. We are excited to have Sabrina join us this season!
Fleur De Lis Brew Works will be our featured brewery, offering tastings!
Do you need to get into the “spirit” for Halloween? You can do so by attending the Friday, October 27th program “Halloween and the Finger Lakes” presented by Seneca County Historian Walter Gable at the Wesleyan Chapel 136 Fall Street Seneca Falls.
Mr.Gable will share ghost stories associated with the Seneca Falls Historical Society mansion as well as the Sea Serpent of Seneca Lake and allegations of ghosts at other places in the Finger Lakes such as Belhurst Castle and Wells College. You can also learn about Spook Hill and why Edward Rulloff’s brain is part of the Wilder Brain Collection at Cornell University. Gable will also share the historical origins of Halloween and how it has become one of the major holidays celebrated in the United States.
The program begins at 7:00pm on Friday the 27th of October

2017 BEDFORD FALLS GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST
The 8th Annual Bedford Falls Gingerbread House Contest will once again be happening over the It’s A Wonderful Life weekend,
this year from December 12th through December 14th.
All prizes have been donated by Seneca Falls vendors and organizations
Houses will be on display at the Seneca Museum for voting from
Tuesday Dec 5th through Sunday Dec 10th.
Winners chosen by People’s Choice and announced
Monday December 11th.
all winners will being contacted.
All entries must be received by Monday December the 4th
