Seneca Falls Visitor Center Heritage Video

“Seneca County: The Center of the Finger Lakes” is a short video that showcases the natural beauty and rich history of Seneca County. In the video, viewers are exposed to the agricultural world of wineries, breweries, and distilleries that flourish in the Finger Lakes region. The wineries of the area are regionally, nationally, and internationally acclaimed in their wine production, where they compete in competitions worldwide. Other features of Seneca County are the outdoor activities that happen all year round. Visitors can explore and play throughout all four seasons, from skiing to fishing. If hiking the gorgeous trails of the area is not on the itinerary, visiting a few museums is an option. Seneca County is prominent in world history, as Seneca Falls, NY is the birthplace of Women’s Rights in the United States, Romulus, NY housing the Sampson Military Museum, and Waterloo, NY is regarded as the birthplace of Memorial Day. Visiting the museums that are throughout the county is a great way to be immersed in history itself. If visitors would like to stay and further explore, there are many accommodations to fit any budget. As the video proclaims, “we invite you to see why Seneca County is the center of the Finger Lakes,” and we hope you enjoy!
