PAC J-O-Z at Seneca Museum
The Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry was recently notified they are a recipient of a Finger Lakes Arts Grants and Services DEC Grant for 2006. Their proposal was to increase cultural awareness in the Finger Lakes by bringing people to the museum through “PAC J-O-Z at the Seneca Museum”.
June will bring “Ball in the House”, a pop a capella singing group from Boston, MA, hence the PAC part of the program. The J part of the program is jazz which will be performed in March by the “Dixie Swing Project” from Ithaca. The O is for orchestra, as the Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra will perform on the canal side of the museum in June. Z is for zither and Pop Spencer from Waterloo will present a program on his instruments in April
Seneca Museum’s Board of Directors, Director Kathy Peters and Assistant Director Linda Solan are enthusiastic and looking forward to working with FLAGS in Geneva as well as with the variety of performers. |
