Community Awareness Day at the NYCC

Community Awareness Day

On Thursday, September 25, Community Awareness Day was held in the lobby and surrounding area of the New York Chiropractic College. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., a wide variety of local vendors displayed products and provided information about their companies and areas. From museums, wineries, shopping venues, places to dine and everything in between was represented. Each station provided personnel ready to answer any questions the students, faculty and staff had.

Every visitor to the event received a card of vendors and when they went to a display table they were given a signature, if they received all the signatures they then were eligible for a range of prizes donated by the vendors.  The event saw approximately 400 – 500 students, faculty and staff attend.

This event was a great way old and new to learn about products, services and volunteer opportunities in our area!

Here at the Museum we made a commitment to support the event every year.
